Lorry worked at the Sodor Aluminum Works from 1947-1948, after an incident with Stuart and boulder, the line was closed and Lorry was sent to the Sodor Construction Company.

Lorry appears to be based on a Foden OG range lorry, which were once a common sight around railway yards.
Livery[]
Lorry is painted brownish-red. His registration plate is black with the letters "LOR" followed by his respective number "1" painted in white.
